Yo~! Welcome!
So I'd really like to talk about Axis Powers Hetalia, it's the phenomena that's sweeping the world. It's about countries being personified as Bishounen or "pretty boys" during WW2 era. Some may say that it has nothing to do with shonen-ai, but it has quite a few BL undertones. (Which makes a fujoshi like me, very... very happy.) The main character, Italy, is a ditzy, pasta loving, adorable and cheerful boy. Germany, his best friend (though sometimes it seems like it's more than that.) is a strong, brawny, and blonde, drill sergeant of a man. Japan, is a mysterious and polite man who has an infatuation with manga, and America is a burger hoarding, hero obsessed, enthusiastic character. There are also many other characters with totally diverse personalities based on common modern day stereotypes of nations. It's hilarious, and cute, and just one of my all time favorite anime. I highly recommend it~.
